About Colorado Homes for All.

Colorado Homes for All (COHFA) is a multi-racial, community-centered coalition organizing to ensure that everyone — no matter how much we earn, where we come from, or whether we rent or own — has a warm, stable home to grow roots, make connections, and contribute to our vibrant Colorado communities.

A Roof Over Every Head.

Founded in 2016 as a state member of National Homes for All, we unite organizations from across Colorado to build a grassroots housing movement for equity and justice. Our coalition is structured to uplift the leadership and voices of those directly impacted by exclusionary and inequitable housing policies and unjust tenant conditions.

Three Pillars in Our Housing Movement.

Renter Rights

Our communities thrive when everyone has a stable home. But for too long, corporate landlords have used evictions to silence renters living in unsafe conditions. We've won For Cause Eviction protections that prevent discriminatory, retaliatory, and unjust displacement of Colorado families and will continue organizing to ensure safe and stable housing conditions.

Homes We Can Afford

Year after year, real estate developers and corporate landlords hike rents and displace families to maximize profits with no regard for our communities. We're fighting to overturn the ban on local rent stabilization, empowering communities to keep housing affordable for all Coloradans, no exceptions.

People Over Profit

We are the foundation of this great state. Yet, corporate landlords divide us by race and place while funding campaigns to rig the rules in their favor. By joining together, we can rewrite laws to protect all families and create communities where housing is stable, accessible, and affordable for all, regardless of income or zip code.

Colorado Homes for All Coalition Members.

Our coalition has grown from three founding organizations to over twenty diverse members. This expansion represents a growing recognition that housing unaffordability connects to every aspect of community wellbeing. Together, these organizations form Colorado's most powerful collective voice for housing justice, representing communities across race, class, and geography.
